About cosy cottage, Bakewell

This cosy holiday cottage in Bakewell has a central location of this largest market town of the Peak District. Located just opposite to the church, surrounded by cute cottages. A handy parking permit will be waiting for you on arrival, and while the space is a few minutes’ walk to the front door, you’ll get to start exploring the lovely village of Bakewell.

You’ll find independent coffee shops and restaurants two minutes away, and your hosts will let you know their favourite ones too. The cottage is such a cosy space to return to and offers opportunities for unwinding both indoors and outdoors. Make use of the immaculate patio when the sun is shining, or retire inside for a relaxing evening by the the cracking fire. With the Peak District on your doorstep, you won’t run out of activities to fill up your day. Hike the Monsal trail or plan a visit to Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall – there’s something for everyone.

The space

This stone build cottage is a unique find with lots of character features such as high ceilings, original sash windows, wooden cupboards or log burning stove. All house is beautifully decorated with Farrow & Ball colours, cottage interior decoration but still provide you with modern details such as large Smeg oven, smart heating system or smart lock keypad.

There are 2 reception rooms which gives you lots of space for you to spend time in the cottage. In the living room is a large sofa and armchair, TV with Netflix, DVD library and you can snuggle in front of the fire after your day out.

 

Kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and large Smeg range oven. Dinning table seats 6 and can entertain your party there with a selection of board games. All 3 very spacious bedrooms are on the second floor with very comfortable beds and Harrison mattresses. There is a bathroom with a bathtub, some toiletries are provided.
